The four channel 3500/72M receiving pole position monitor receives input from proximity sensors, provides dynamic and static position measurements for conditional signals, and compares the conditional signals with user programmable alarms.
Each channel, depending on how you configure it, typically adjusts its input signal to generate various parameters called measurement values.
Using 3500 rack configuration software:
1. Configure alarm settings for each activity measurement value and hazard settings for any two activity measurement values.
2. Display alarms and trigger relays by continuously comparing monitoring parameters with configured alarm settings to protect reciprocating compressors, if necessary.
3. Monitor the condition of necessary reciprocating compressor machinery.
The monitor channels are programmed in pairs and can perform up to two functions at once.
For example, channels 1 and 2 can perform one function, while channels 3 and 4 perform another or the same function.
