The HMI feature REF 542plus is shown in Figure 3-1. The HMI is equipped with a backlit LCD, 8 buttons, several LED lights, and an electronic key sensor. This internationally recognized new HMI is part of the REF 542plus product release 2.5.
The display resolution is 320x240 (QVGA) and supports the entire Unicode character set. Therefore, all languages, such as Chinese, can be displayed clearly. This HMI can use two different languages simultaneously. By using relevant operation tools, the local language can be set as the first language, and English will become the second language accordingly. You can easily switch the display language of HMI.

The single line diagram of the LCD graphically represents the primary equipment controlled or monitored by REF 542plus inside the switchgear. The right half of the LCD displays plain text, such as measurement and protection events. Its contrast can be automatically controlled to achieve the most suitable reading state for the text; You can also manually adjust it as needed. The HMI panel consists of three main areas.
