D20 Status Input Module

Distributed I/O Architecture 

The D20 Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) design is based on a distributedprocessing architecture including real-time data acquisition and control software. These I/O modules can be located close to the primary equipment being monitored and controlled as they receive and send data back to the master D20 main processor. The I/O modules are intelligent modules that contain on-board microprocessors and are configured as slave devices to the D20 main processor. In the Figure 1 pictorial setup, specific I/O processing is distributed throughout the D20 RTU to the appropriate I/O modules. The I/O modules support two communication protocols: (1) DNP 3 protocol, and (2) high speed, high-level data link controller (D.20 Link, HDLC) protocol. The peripheral modules have serial communication ports and various types of field connections. The hardware construction of each remote I/O module type is similar.

D20状态输入模块

概述
D20状态模块由两个可拆卸模块WESTERM D20 S和WESDAC D20 S组成。底部模块WESTERR D20 S是所有现场接线的端接处。顶部模块WESDAC D20 S处理采集的数据并将其传送到主D20处理器，
WESTERM D20 S模块是WESDAC D20 S状态输入模块的终端。WESDAC D20 S的所有现场、I/O和电源端子均在WESTERM D20 S上制成。压缩型端子上最多可容纳64个数字输入。通过使用降压电阻器，可以处理12 VDC至130 VDC范围内的输入。

分布式I/O体系结构
D20远程终端单元（RTU）的设计基于分布式处理架构，包括实时数据采集和控制软件。当这些I/O模块接收数据并将其发送回主D20主处理器时，它们可以位于被监视和控制的主要设备附近。
I/O模块是包含板载微处理器的智能模块，配置为D20主处理器的从属设备。在图1的图形设置中，特定的I/O处理在整个D20 RTU中分布到相应的I/O模块。
I/O模块支持两种通信协议：（1）DNP 3协议和（2）高速高级数据链路控制器（D.20-link，HDLC）协议。外围模块具有串行通信端口和各种类型的现场连接。
每种远程I/O模块类型的硬件结构相似。
