GE WESDAC D20ME

The GE Wesdac D20ME controller is a new generation intelligent device launched by General Electric (GE) for industrial process control. Its core advantages lie in its powerful data processing capabilities and flexible scalability, which can meet the stringent stability requirements of continuous production scenarios.
In terms of control performance, the controller is based on a 32-bit ARM processor with a main frequency of 120MHz, which can quickly process analog and digital signals, ensuring a control cycle of less than 100ms and meeting real-time requirements such as chemical reactor temperature control and power grid frequency regulation. The built-in 128KB SRAM and 512KB Flash storage space can store real-time control programs and record historical data (such as temperature and pressure curves), providing a basis for production optimization.
In terms of communication capabilities, D20ME supports Ethernet, RS-485, RS-232 and other interfaces, compatible with mainstream industrial protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP and DNP3.0, and can seamlessly integrate with SCADA systems PLC、 Sensors and other devices are used to build efficient industrial networks. Through the Ethernet interface, users can achieve remote monitoring, parameter configuration, and firmware upgrades, reducing maintenance costs.
In terms of input/output design, the controller provides 8 analog inputs (16 bit resolution) and 4 analog outputs (12 bit resolution), supporting industrial standard signals such as 4-20mA and 0-10V, and is compatible with most sensors and actuators. 16 digital inputs and 16 relay outputs allow for flexible control of devices such as valves and pumps. In addition, the controller has overvoltage, overcurrent, and short-circuit protection functions to ensure stable operation under abnormal working conditions.
Compact modular design (size 200mm × 150mm × 80mm), combined with IP65 protection level, can be directly installed in on-site environments such as chemical tank areas and power rooms, saving control cabinet space. Low power design (8W) is particularly suitable for energy limited scenarios such as solar power supply and remote areas.
