The GE IS400BPPCH1AMF handles local I/O processing for turbine control systems. This I/O pack processor board offloads data acquisition tasks from the main controller. It manages analog and digital inputs with minimal latency. Consequently, the module improves overall system response times significantly.

The GE IS400BPPCH1AMF contains 8 MB of flash memory for firmware storage. It also includes 4 MB of SRAM for buffered I/O data. A non-volatile ferroelectric RAM stores calibration constants permanently. This FRAM retains data without any battery backup. The board does not use external memory cards or removable storage.
