1756-IT6I is a member of the Rockwell ControlLogix system I/O family dedicated to high-precision, low-level analog signal acquisition. In DCS or large PLC systems, it is typically deployed in areas that require monitoring of critical process temperatures (such as reaction vessels, heating furnaces) or small stresses/pressures. Compared with general voltage/current input modules (such as 1756-IF6I), its biggest feature is the built-in precision measurement circuit for thermocouples and millivolt signals, as well as high-level isolation, eliminating the cost of external signal isolators and cabinet space.
