Installation requires specific key band positions in any 1771 I/O chassis slot except the one furthest left of the data highway slot, and communication channels are daisy-chained. Designed for clean, dry industrial environments, it operates between 0-60C, 5-95% humidity (non-condensing), and can withstand 30g of shock.
