Design and principle

The combined overcurrent and earth-fault relay is a secondary relay to be connected to the current transformers of the protected object. The three-phase overcurrent unit and the earth-fault unit continuously measure the phase currents and the neutral current of the protected object. On detection of a fault the relay starts, trips the circuit breaker, initiates auto-reclosing, provides alarm, records fault data etc. in accordance with the application and the configured relay functions.

Three‑phase Overcurrent Protection Provide both Definite Time (DT) and Inverse Definite Minimum Time (IDMT) operating characteristics for phase‑to‑phase short‑circuit and overload faults. Include low‑set overcurrent stage for overload and high‑set instantaneous stage for severe short‑circuit. Support single‑phase, two‑phase or three‑phase protection configurations, connected to secondary current transformers (1 A / 5 A CT input).

Earth‑Fault (Zero‑Sequence Current) Protection Integrated earth‑fault protection unit with low‑set and high‑set stages. Both definite‑time and IDMT curves are selectable. Designed for earth‑fault detection in solidly‑earthed, resistance‑earthed or impedance‑earthed MV distribution networks, detects neutral‑point unbalance and ground leakage faults.

Circuit‑Breaker Failure Protection (CBFP) Built‑in breaker failure logic. If the circuit breaker fails to open after receiving trip command, the relay will issue backup tripping signal to upstream breakers to isolate fault segments and expand fault clearance scope.

设计与原理
过电流和接地故障组合继电器是连接到受保护对象的电流互感器的二次继电器。三相过电流单元和接地故障单元连续测量被保护对象的相电流和中性电流。检测到故障后，继电器根据应用和配置的继电器功能启动、跳闸断路器、启动自动重合闸、提供报警、记录故障数据等。

三相过电流保护为相间短路和过载故障提供定时（DT）和反定时最小时间（IDMT）操作特性。包括用于过载的低设置过电流阶段和用于严重短路的高设置瞬时阶段。支持单相、两相或三相保护配置，连接到二次电流互感器（1 A/5 CT输入）。
接地故障（零序电流）保护集成接地故障保护装置，具有低设置和高设置阶段。定时和IDMT曲线都是可选的。专为牢固接地、电阻接地或阻抗接地中压配电网中的接地故障检测而设计，可检测中性点不平衡和接地漏电故障。
断路器故障保护（CBFP）内置断路器故障逻辑。如果断路器在收到跳闸命令后未能打开，继电器将向上游断路器发出备用跳闸信号，以隔离故障段并扩大故障清除范围。
